By using Reader, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Reader is a personal library and book discovery app. We provide tools to track, organize, rate, and discover books. We do not sell books directly — purchase links direct you to third-party retailers.
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You retain ownership of content you create (reviews, lists, ratings). By posting content, you grant Reader a license to display it within the service. You may delete your content at any time.
Don't use Reader to: post harmful, abusive, or illegal content; impersonate others; attempt to access other users' accounts; scrape or misuse the service; or violate any applicable law.
Reader may offer free and paid tiers. Subscription details, pricing, and cancellation terms will be presented clearly before any purchase. Payments are processed through the platform's app store.
Reader may include affiliate links to third-party retailers. We may earn commissions from qualifying purchases. These transactions are between you and the retailer.
Reader is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of book data, or availability of third-party links.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reader's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email.
